I absolutely agree. FedEx SmartPost is suck! But more online stores love to use it just to save couple bucks. I ordered two cosmetic sets (two seperate orders) from lancome.com on June 14. I was very concerned since I knew they used SmartPost (their tracking is so bad--slow/ not update/ long stupid shipping routes). I really need to get these two sets (as gifts) back to my home country on June 29. So I think I suppose to get these on time, right? But guess what! Two packages were sent out at the same time on June 15, 08. First package arrived on June 27, 08 (yes almost 2 weeks). and the second one came on June 30, 08 -- one day after I left... well well well

While waiting to get these, I contacted USPS and SmartPost but they are suck! They said they have the same information as shown in the website... I also did contact lancome.com if there\'re any other ways they can track or do something.. But they\'re abosolutely useless-- asking me if I misunderstand something on the orders .... how awful!

That was it! With SmartPost and lancome.com

I used to work there a few years ago. Just had a shipment sent from Amazon via SmartPost. Burrrr, sent a cold chill down my back. So, I did a few searches on SmartPost and see nothing but hate. Glad I dont work there anymore. Hope I get my package within a month. Site said 3 to 5 days, I know they could not possibly do it that fast since the transfer to the post office takes that long.

I recently placed an order with the on-line catalog of a company that uses FedEx Smartpost. When I went on-line to track status, I came across this weblog. After reading these comments, and having had no prior experience with FedEx Smartpost, I was seriously concerned about receiving my package soon or even at all. But the concern was for nothing. The package left the company on June 23, and the mailman delivered it to my door the morning of June 30.... 5 business days later (I read somewhere their delivery time is 7-9 days). There were 2 sortation centers involved -- at one the turnaround was a day and a half, and at the other the turnaround was 2 hours (in the middle of the night no less). So I agree with weblogger #40 (Jim) who said \"So far I am much more favorably impressed with the SmartPost than are most of the people that posted messages here.\"

Even if you complain they made so basically nobody is responsible and your package can get lost and nobody will cover it and nobody will take your complaints because somehow thats not their fault. I say that FedEx SmartPost is the worst shipping i\'ve ever used. How can FedEx even be affiliated with these losers?

I normally do not ship much and try to either use UPS or USPS to send my packages. I have also used FedEx in the past with relative success. However, now the big names have come up with a way to be completely irresponsible for their service and in the process make it “cheaper” for its users. Announcing Fedex Smartpost. I really wonder how executives at these shipping companies can come up with this horseshit and put it into production without performing a reality check. I see Fedex Smartpost as a way for Fedex and USPS to completely deny any accountability for a package shipped through this service, thus reducing overhead normally associated with extra checks and balances to control loss and/or mistakes. This makes everyone concerned look really, really bad. They need to hire better marketing and managerial folks.
I was shipped a small package through this service and somehow it got lost in the shuffle. However, now Fedex has no way of tracking it, nor does USPS. They both asked me to visit the others’ website/phone support to get it resolved. I shudder to think what would have happened if this package was expensive or had an insurance claim of some kind. Needless to say, I will never ship anything again (or have anything shipped to me) with any “Smartpost” type service. I really like accountability and would like to think that my carriers are responsible enough and reliable enough to want be accountable since they sell reliability and their business models are based on reliability of service. If anyone reading this was thinking about using Fedex Smartpost, I would strongly suggest against it. Save yourself the hassle and the line of flaming dog poop that these people are offering and pay a few bucks extra to use a better service.

Well, the 2 games and extra controller were shipped USPS and got to my house in 2 shipping days. The system however, was shipped via smartpost. It was shipped out the 5th, got to the Grove City, Ohio “sortation center” on the 6th, and fedex tracking says that it has been there ever since!
Ok, I have read enough bashing about FedEx SmartPost. For those of you that don’t have a clue about logistics; as I can tell by your comments you don’t, a sortation center is basically the same as the post office calls a Bulk Mail Center. They receive the parcels; or mail for those of lesser minds, and sort it to the closest zip code allowing direct delivery of items from a shipper. Which FedEx SmartPost has got down to most of your local post offices.

As for delivery times for SmartPost verses FedEx Ground… Both take the exact time to deliver to your home. 2-7 days, and since FedEx SmartPost is using the Postal Service for final delivery, I would say that is damn good.
Now for the pricing issue I have read about. Let me just say that most of the places you would order from not only charge you the amount for shipping, but they also charge you to package the item and handle it until it is picked up…
To end this rambling, let me just say before you go blasting a company, know your facts.

I am currently experiencing the same Black Hole of Sortation Centers. My Wii has been apparently sitting in the Earth City, MO Sortation Center for 5 days now. Comparing this to standard FedEx service is a joke, as the logistics of their entire distribution system appears flawed. I have never seen this type of problem with UPS or the post office. I mean, cmon, they are making me DEFEND THE POST OFFICE! Something tells me that I can probably make a large bid on my Wii on Ebay thanks to Joe Schmo Sorter from the Sortation center swiping packages. That would explain how nobody can get any, yet there are 1000’s on Ebay.

I’ve had other issues with FedEx too. Like needing a signature for pickup on an item. They habitually leave a note saying “we missed you at 1PM, we will try again tomorrow after 4PM”. Yet, leave work early the next day, and the SAME note is there because they missed me at 1PM again.

I just do not understand why Becker uses this horrible service of Fedex. I called Fedex three times to ensure that they hold my package so that I can pick them up by myself. As you know the Becker Review course is very expensive, therefore, I do not want them to just leave in front of my door. The center on 700 Wise Rd in Schaumburg IL, never paid attention to the message sent by the Fedex Headquarter. I really doubt that this is the first time. In addition, the service hour is very short. You cannot pick your package like 5pm, they are close!!
Fed-Ex SmartPost Sucks! I am going through the same problem with ordering a Wii from Circuit City as well. I have read countless complaints about this new disaster of a service from FedEx all over the Internet. This forum here is only one among many with people complaining about this (dis)service. I ordered the Wii and a one game from CC at the same time. The game got to me one business day later being shipped directly with USPS. The Wii console, shipped with FedEx StupidPost has circumnavigated the United States all around my state of Alabama going from Oregon, to Atlanta, Georgia, to Orlando, Florida. It has been 8-days so far, but I fear even worse after reading the multitude of complaints about this service all over the Internet. The latest tracking information states that the USPS has received Electronic Shipping Information about my package, but has not received my actual package.

And as far as Roger’s haughty comments above (Post #12), basically F*ck you and your arrogant attitude.
Now an opinion from an insider. I’ve worked for FedEx for six years. Five with Ground and this past one with Smartpost. I’m not an apologist by any means, but you have to understand that we are going through what you might call “growing pains.” For starters, Smarpost (formerly Parcel Direct) was only purchased by FedEx in 2004, so the streamlining of operating sytems is not even complete yet. Also bear in mind that Smartpost’s largest competitor, Apex Logistics, filed for Chapter 11 in 2006. This lead to a massive growth in the volume that each Smartpost hub was sorting on a daily basis. The company had to open up four brand new sorting centers right smack in the middle of the 2006 peak shipping season. When I moved from Ground last year, I initially thought that it was the stupidest decision I had ever made. Now that we are integrating our shipments with those of FedEx Ground, there has been a remarkable improvement in our service. All I am saying is, understand what it’s like for someone working in the trenches of a brand new shipping company, especially one that is attached to such an established name.

The second has been sitting in LA for 10 days now and they tell me it will be another 10 days (making for a 1 month delivery time!). Smartpost customer service was utterly unhelpful, passing it off to some sort of labeling problem . . . they assume. If so, then how did it make it across the US to their LA facility in the first place??? They literally told me that they ship hundreds of thousands of packages and cannot go checking on mine!! Kudos to that customer service rep! I will insist that my vendors use a different shipping method even if it effects the bottom line since customer service (my customers) is the most important thing in my business, even if it isn’t in theirs. As for comment #12, yes, I can read their website too and see that they promise delivery in 2-7 days. I’d be fine with that if they actually lived up to it.

This is for Mr. Roger, #12: You must work for FedEx or have family who does. For the record, the last time I checked, Freedom of Speech is still in existence. People have the right to say what is on their minds, as well as tell others about their experience with any company that has not done their job properly or has crap Customer Service. We all know that things happen and with the amount of packages that are delivered all over the world, some will get misplaced. After reading the comments, I have come to the conclusion that there would not be so many bitter if one person took the time to help them. There is nothing worse than being brushed off or tossed to another person who ends up doing the same thing. The key to all this is simple….TRUTH. No one is looking for perfection with any company. Just tell them what has happened so they can take steps to fix it. Mr. Roger, get a clue and try adding some helpful, positive insight next time instead of criticism. Have a nice day. Good luck to all that have been a victim to being pushed aside, lied to or simply…never helped.

Hi all I now share in your misery with Fedex Scampost. I placed on order from performancebike.com during a free shipping special. They sent it scampost. After languishing in and bouncing from sortation centers it arrives at the post office only to be sent out again 500 miles away and come back later the same day. At least that is what the tracking says. I called to post office ready to rip them a new one for letting my package sit around for 5 days. The PO say they never received it and that scampost gives them problems all the time. Even though tracking says it was accepted at the post office, that only means it was listed so in a bulk manifest. It seems their tracking is nothing but an outlet for them to lie and divert blame for their staggering incompetence to the PO. I will never deal with scampost again.

I’ve now ordered from 2 stores that shipped via Smartpost and both were bad experiences. Big Surprise I know! The first one I thought for sure would never arrive. It was shipped from CA about 6 hours from where Iive. I could have drove there and back 10 times. The package reached the post office (according to Smarpost) on July 6. The tracking information at this point was never updated. I did finally recieve my pakage just the other day, on July 23. How ridiculous is this for a package shipped from California to California. I placed an order from Circuit City for a Nintendo Wii and a couple of games on July 20 and I noticed they shipped part of my order (the Nintendo Wii of course) via Smartpost. Great! This ones coming from TX to CA, so it should arrive in a couple months I guess. The funny thing is the other part (the video games) of my order that they shipped regular USPS has already arrived. So I’m not very happy right now. It seems like more companies are using this service. I agree, it should be called Scampost!

They said that FedEX just backs up to the door and unloads a pallet of stuff with one thing to scan and scanning that tells what should be on the pallet, they said it isn’t uncommon for it to say there are say 42 packages and there only be 40. Anyway, today JULY 25TH, I finally receive my package, imagine my excitement, open the Woot box, open the other box and there is nothing in it but the tools CD and the manual!! So after further inspecting the box I can see where someone pulled the label back, tore the address off I bet by accident, opened the other box and stuck a post-it note on the box with the address since they tore it off and taped the box back shut… I noticed someone saying something about Joe Blower Sorter Guy playing with their Wii, I think he is listening to MY media player as well…. I have a box opened by someone between me and woot that is empty to prove it….

I recently had a package shipped from Performance Bike by SmartPost. It was held up at a sorting center in West Virginia for 3 days. But when it arrived in Kent, Washington it was shipped out on the following day and arrived at my home ahead of time. I just placed another order with Performance and it is being shipped by SmartPost. This time it arrived at the West Virginia sorting center late at night and left early the next morning. I do not have much to go on but it appears that the success of the shipping method depends upon the efficiency of the sorting center. Perhaps the efficiency will also improve with time. So far I am much more favorably impressed with the SmartPost than are most of the people that posted messages here.

I ordered a lithium battery from SonyStyle on August 2, 2007. The tracking system did not pick up anything for several days. Then the package made several stops at “sorting stations” on its way from Illinois. Then on August 11, Fed Ex says it delivered the package to my post office in southern California. On contacting the post office, they made several searches but had no record of it. On August 16, I tracked the package again…...this time on its way BACK to Illinois. Why? SonyStyle Customer Service [a misnomer] says the package was damaged and is being returned to the shipper. No notification was ever made to me about the package return status. But wait, there’s more! On contacting SonyStyle Customer Service, I asked to have another battery shipped to me. No, they said, I have to fill out a freight loss form which they would e-mail to me. I must sign this form and send it back to SonyStyle in order to get credit for the purchase. Yes, SonyStyle would send me another battery [free 1-day air shipping] but I’d have to pay for it up front. To date I have not received the freight loss e-mail form. Trying to get through by phone to SonyStyle is difficult, requiring long waits “for the next available operator.” If I want another lithium battery, I’ll have to wait for my SonyStyle credit refund and go out to Walmart to buy it! It appears that Sony is very regimented and is not in the least bit customer friendly.

TERRIBLE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Just terribly disorganized delivery service. FedEx takes your package and delivers your package to a FedEx SmartPost (company bought out by FedEx recently) sorting hub where they will sit there for many days on end until SmartPost has met the full truck load quota of packages for your destination hub. Half the time they send the packages to the wrong sorting hubs and then they end up sending it across the country. IF it does finally get to your city FedEx the pawns the package off onto USPS so that FedEx can’t be held accountable for the condition of your package. I really can’t stress enough how absolutely f-ing terrible this service is. I don’t even screw around with online stores that deliver FedEx Smartpost as their Ground method of delivery. I won’t buy from them.
Hi, I’ve worked for a variety of shipping companies (aka UPS and FedEx)...You guys should know that there are often many mis-scans with the parcels…aka they will appear to have left Atlanta when it was last scanned in Orlando. Also, FedEx Smartpost is a 7-9 business day delivery service. Weekends, holidays, etc do not count. If a company is telling you it will be there sooner than that, there are simply not telling you the truth. Packages will often stay in a sortation center for a few days; that is very typical. It’s a low-cost shipping alternative, therefore it is much slower. You’re package is not being stolen, it’s not just sitting around, FedEx SmartPost handles the most domestic packages. Since they aren’t charging their consumers much to ship, there is going to be a lag time. If they’re charging you more than about $5 for shipping, they’re taking that extra money to line their pockets. Ultimately, the liability for refunding to you belongs to the company you placed your order with. The shipping companies refund the companies you bought something from, and they in turn refund you. The reason the shipping company (aka UPS or FedEx) cannot give you personally any refund is because they aren’t even allowed to see your customer information. The only information they have is a tracking number. They can’t look up your name, your address, anything. It’s simple confidentiality laws. Also, I’d like to say that Sony is the worst company ever and openly lies to their customers. I’m never ordering again from them, especially since I know that they are lying. The simple truth is, FedEx SmartPost is slow. It is cheap. You get what you pay for, and if you have complaints, the company you ordered from is the only one that can help you. If the company is claiming to not have information about your package, the liability lies with their shipping department, not FedEx SmartPost. Sorry, folks. The companies that choose to ship this way accept any liability for shipping errors, mistakes, and damages. The reason you can’t get help from FedEx Smartpost, particularly, is because they are exclusively a corporate shipper. If you’re not a representative from Circuit City, Coldwater Creek, etc, etc, they can’t help you. I hope this helps clear up anybody’s questions…

After a month, it is still not delivered as promised! The last update of the tracking showed it was in Sacramento, CA on 9/25/07. It seemed that the item will be there forever! I’m disappointed about this unreliable services made by these BIG NAME Companies, i.e. Circuit City, Fedex, as well as USPS. None of them were willing to help and were just trying to push the problem to one another! As a customer, I had no choice but to talk to my Credit Card Company!

I love fedex but i hate smart post. Truth be told, The usps has a deal with fedex to have all of the first class, and priority mail shipped on fedex planes, and in turn the usps will give business to them a.k.a. smartpost. Because the postal service cannot afford to operate aircraft anymore. But unfortunately Thats all there is. Any catalog you order from either ships fedex, usps, dhl, or ups. What it comes down to is if you want it on time you have to pay out the ass. Smartpost also crams freight into my truck to the point that boxes are crushed and destroyed.
I too am dying waiting for something to come from smartpost. I ordered a laptop from circuit city and it came a week ago today through FedEx Ground. There was a deal along with it to get a wireless router, laptop case, and flash drive for cheap. That stuff was supposed to come today, 1 week after the laptop. I live in Pennsylvania and the package was in Pottstown so I finally figured any day now! But now the update says it’s in Kent, Washington!! How is that POSSIBLE!? It can’t possibly be any closer to coming now. And with all the stories on here of packages being lost and stolen, I’m getting worried. It originally left from Oklahoma, then it went to Texas, then West Virginia, then Pennnsylvania, and like I said now it’s in Washington, further away than it was originally shipped from!! This is totally ludicrous. If I ever think something will be shipped smartpost again I will cancel the order immediately. And I wasn’t trying to get cheap shipping either, I wanted both packages at the same time and would have paid if I’d been given a choice; I wasn’t because it had to be ordered over the phone. What good is a laptop for over a week without internet!? smartpost, what is wrong with you?! It’s been 10 days now, tomorrow will be 11 if it still doesn’t come. It better get its ass to my doorstep.

Supposedly it is a cheaper method, but I have yet to find a dealer who passes the savings on to the customer. If given the choice, I would never buy from a store that uses smartpost as the only option. The management have no personnel standards which in regard, require the worker to work more for less and of course do worse at their job. Of course FedEx seems like a wonderful place to work, its a notorious company that takes advantage of the underdog who serve them. It all comes down to money. I have asked for many favors as simply as direct deposit, many say they will help, but nothing happens, having such a simple service at hand is trechourous, for over a month this has on been going on but I hear the same thing every time, “Next week”. So it left on the 12th from Illinois, went to Wisconsin, then West Virginia, then Georgia. The estimated delivery date was the 20th. On the 17th, my local post office received the shipping information from FedEx electronically, and then FedEx says it entered the USPS in my local town on the same day. The post office, however, never receieved it. When I went to the post office, they looked up the tracking number and found that it was scanned in another town, possibly sent back to Nashville, TN for resorting…but in short, nobody has any clue where my package is. It’s a personalized Christmas gift for my mother worth $200, and I am leaving today with no present. Calling SmartPost too has resulted in nothing…I’ve emailed them and called them and left my number and a message, both with no replies. I am so upset with this company…and with the company I ordered my item from being as big of a pain as SmartPost, I’ll doubt if I ever receive either the package or my money back.

It’s the holiday season and the business I ordered from decided to use smartpost for their free shipping. What a joke. My delivery date was yesterday and no package. I’ve been trying to track it online and its been in the same place for 7 days. Tried calling their customer service and it too was a joke. I could not get a hold of anybody because it was a saturday. No customer service on the weekend even though they deliver on saturdays. It’s two days before christmas, and now my wife won’t be recieving one of her gifts until AFTER christmas. Again FedEx SmartPost is a joke

somehow is it acceptable to take OVER A MONTH? 8 effing days in a texas “sortation center”. sounds to me like someone lost it and then randomly stumbled across it whilst throwing out their 4th starbucks for the day and decided it should probably be put back into circulation. The expected arrival date is 5 weeks from original date of order. Ridiculous.

A few comments—-

Quoted from the shirt.woot.com site:
Slow shipping is on us, via FedEx SmartPost. Thatâ??s our $0 shipping option. If youâ??re cheap and patient, just let SmartPost do its thing, and your shirt should be in your hand in 5-100 business days.

Secondly, in reference to eliot… FedEx DumbPost is not totally to blame…—-Woot did not give the shirt to FedEx until the 19th. That is when it was picked up.—-There was also a huge holiday in there, which usually makes things slow to a screeching halt…Christmas.—-When you bought it, you were told (reference above) that you need to be patient.

And everybody that has lost items, go back and make sure you get a claim filed in some way. File a chargeback if need be on your credit card. You have a right to not have your package stolen.

I will not order from Lady Footlocker again. Been waiting for soccer cleats since 12/27 and the order spent 7 calendar days in the sortation center – one that is 90 miles from me. So frustrating. I could have just driven up there and picked up the cleats from them, if they allowed that. And LFL charges for Standard shipping (and some of your posts list FREE shipping from various companies) I should have forked over the cash and paid for the 3-5 calendar days or shipping is free guaranteed. They did not list who they actually use for shipping. Had I known and found this site beforehand, I most likely would not have ordered cleats from them.
Plus the girl I spoke to didn’t know whether I needed to be there to sign for the package. Useless outsourced twits. Ugh.

I have my comments to add about fedex smart post. I placed an order before Christmas with a company. The package was shipped on december 24th, I called the company on January 2nd to get the tracking number. It was shipping fedex smart post, this is my first and last experience with them. On 1/2 it got to one state, on 1/4 it was in another state set to be sent to the post office on 1/7. I called Fedex on 1/9 and was told the post office should have it but there was no record of it online. Called the post office several times and the package was not there. Called fedex back and they said it was still in the sorting center. Went online 1/10 to see if there were any updates and it still showed the package in the sorting center. I called fedex again and they said they did not know where the package was that I should call where I ordered the item and see what they could do to get me another sent out. I called and was told to call fedex back and tell them the package was in their posession, they are responsible for it and to find it. So I call fedex and told them, fedex said the package was damaged and to call the company back and tell them to resend the item. I called and was told since it was damaged they would send out another one. Guess what, the package was just delivered, it had been opened but everything seems to be there. By the way according to fedex the package is still in the sorting center and has not been delivered!

Can’t say anything that others already haven’t…delivery times are just pitiful. My first package that came SmartPost took 20 days from California. First it spent a week sitting in LA before shipping to the East Coast, then 10 days sitting in Edison, NJ and then it finally made it my local post office which then took an additional two days. Now another eTailer I bought from chose this ridiculous service. The package made if from Louisville, KY to Edison, NJ in 1 day and now package #2 is just sitting there languishing in Edison. I actually spoke to an in-law this weekend who works for FedEx and I told him the SmartPost service is abysmal and he agreed. GREAT! All I can say is that I will call the eTailer before ordering to assure they DON’T use this service. If they do then I’ll opt for some place else.

I thought I was the only one that has suffered from StupidPost and after reading this, I am amazed to see that others had it worse. At least I EVENTUALLY got my package, only that it was too late. I ordered a whole bunch of stuff from Amazon, some from its affiliated sellers in mid Nov 07.
After seeing how long the ESTIMATED delivery date was (still en route) on the tracking site, I Googled “Fedex smart post sucks” on a frustrated whim; wow, what a lot of dissatisfied customers. The retailers who use it are going to create a lot customers who never buy again. RepairClinic.com charged me $5.99 to ship a 1-ounce piece of plastic, which might have cost a buck for regular mail, which would have gotten it here in less than a week, instead of SmartPost’s 9-day estimate (which may be longer, from what I’ve seen above). A seller of repair parts should be aware that customers will be totally unhappy with a shipping method that takes LONGER than regular mail. I will be very careful in the future.

the method behind the madness: There are few trucks designated solely to delivering Fedex packages to the usps, and those trucks are full with premium FedEx parcels. If the trucks at any given sortation center are full, Fedex will simply send your “SmartPost” package internally, and virtually ANYWHERE they can, in an attempt to keep their local percentages of “fluid processing” up. In fact, some sortation centers have next to ZERO trucks designated for USPS conversions, ergo people in some regions (seemingly ALL of them) may experience extreme delays, or never see their goods at all.

Never again—I’ll be asking how my orders are shipping, and if it’s SmartPost, I’m canceling! And since when does a receiving center care if my package is on the way?? That’s a wasted step in the process.

Maybe Fedex to USPS to delivery address is supposed to take the same time as Fedex ground only, but every time a shipper has used it for my packages (several dozen so far), it takes at least 3-5 days longer than any other ground shipping. Those are the facts- like it or not!

“”Ok, I have read enough bashing about FedEx SmartPost. For those of you that donâ??t have a clue about logistics; as I can tell by your comments you donâ??t, a sortation center is basically the same as the post office calls a Bulk Mail Center. They receive the parcels; or mail for those of lesser minds, and sort it to the closest zip code allowing direct delivery of items from a shipper. Which FedEx SmartPost has got down to most of your local post offices.

As for delivery times for SmartPost verses FedEx Groundâ?¦ Both take the exact time to deliver to your home. 2-7 days, and since FedEx SmartPost is using the Postal Service for final delivery, I would say that is damn good.
Now for the pricing issue I have read about. Let me just say that most of the places you would order from not only charge you the amount for shipping, but they also charge you to package the item and handle it until it is picked upâ?¦
To end this rambling, let me just say before you go blasting a company, know your facts.””

The first time I used smartpost the post office claimed they tried to deliver it and never did. So I had to go and pick it up from the post office. Now the second time around my package is being held up at the post office again. It’s been there since Friday. I thought well maybe they’ll deliver it Sat or Mon. Nope still hung up at the PO. So I called the PO on Tues and they said oh yeah it’s here and we’ll get it out to you today. It’s now wed, and I don’t get off in time to pick it up, what a bummer service. Just pure genius.

The smartpost packages must not be a priority. I think that is why they get sent to the boondocks and back before you get it…if you get it! Just pure genius…the things people do to create jobs…unnecessary jobs…unnecessary postage. Smartpost cost the same amount to ship UPS. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh…it should be called DUMBPOST

Circuit City said it would take 7-10 days, which was OK by me. It was delivered on day six (5 days in transit), and in good condition. And it works great.

That’s my experience with this system. I feel bad for all of you who have had such horrible problems. Perhaps they are starting to get their operation in order.

I think Fedex Smartpost is getting it’s act together lately. The item I ordered was an SLR camera from circuit city.
