Is this Spam or real?

I got this message on my blog today…

We are interested in your project and will like to invest,please detail us more via email and we will respond urgently.

as a comment on the “Looking for a Couple of Good People” post.

Do you think this is a Spam comment or is this the real deal?

  1. If that is the complete email – as I’m sure it is – stay away :)

    They also use the word ‘invest’ when you have already said ‘non profit’, so that alone raises the eyebrows….

    If it’s online help you need, I’ll chip in ?

  3. The text is very general verbalized. No direct reference to your “project”. Sounds like something similar to a 419.

  4. It reads like a Nigerian scam email. I bet if you reply, they’ll start talking about bank accounts, or you’ll be asked to send them smallish amounts of money to pay off local officials, etc.

  6. Knowing that it is an obvious scam, I would run with it and see how long it would take until they catch on. There is nothing like scamming the scammers
