As promised, I was really itching to get some coding done and I finished the upload script to upload stuff to your SprintPCS phone. Here is the link to the page
As you can tell from the hit count, this is a pretty popular tool and there have been some changes/fixes made to the code. I have gotten many requests for the source code for this project.
The price to get the script for your own use is $100 and the source will be encoded before I sent it to you. The source code can be obtained for a higher price. If you want to use this script on your own server, please email me for further instructions. This is not freeware and will not be distributed free of cost.
Now upload ringtones, screensavers, pictures, games etc. to your Sprint PCS, Alltel, AT&T Wireless, Cingular, TMobil and Verizon phones as well. Free Ad supported service. Click here.
great!

Hey…Thanks for the tool, but I tried to upload .qcp files and every single time it tells me it’s the wrong file type. I’ve converted them from .wav files using PureVoice and I’ve been doing it for a while so I know the files are good. I’ve tried about 20 different files. Please help! Thanks a lot!
Hi, I’ve given you the benefit of the doubt and tried pictures from 3gupload but it still gives me the plugin error and doesn’t work. I was wondering in what manor you save the photos from 3gupload to your computer which allows them to work after uploading them to your phone. Thanks

Tried to send a midi to LG 5225. I have Sprint PCS. Got a 906 Invalid Descriptor error. GCD looks like this:
Content-Type: audio/midi
Content-Name: THEME.MID
Content-Version: 1.0
Content-Vendor: dinki.mine.nu
Content-URL: http://dinki.mine.nu/weblog/tmp/THEME.MID
Content-Size: 8881
BTW, keep up the good work.
Regards,
Noel
Try and change your filename from all caps and upload again to see if that works.
Hi..I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I browse my hard drive, select the picture I want to send, enter my phone number..I get the “Not trusted” message but I know to continue from that. But then I get “File Type Not Supported”. I continue from there and get an “Error 905″ Attribute mismatch.
When I upload the picture, it says it’s successful..
File Name: skott.jpg
File Size: 4604 bytes
File Type: image/pjpeg
Any ideas?
Ok..I read a little more and found you already defined the issue. .pjpeg. Is there any way to know the true format of a file and is there a way to convert it?
Hey i converted my files to qcp…but ur script wont let me upload qcp files…any ideas?
You cannot upload qcp files with this script, you need the original. You can upload qcp files now through the new link.I uploaded a midi file from my computer using the program. It told me that the upload was successful and to check my phone. When I checked my phone, I had received a text message with an http address. I don’t know what to do next. Can anyone help?
Try and visit the address with your phone. If you have an options or a “Go” button, click on it.
I tried to upload a file ozone.mid, but when i go to the url on my phone, I get the following error :
906 Invalid Descriptor
Malformed JAR or content size in descriptor.
Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Great tool BTW!!
What phone and which service?
Sorry, forgot to include that. Its the LG PM-325 instrument with Sprint PCS service.
Try another file. That file somehow returns the wrong size.
Still the same thing with different file.
File Name: gragostea.mid
File Size: 6753 bytes
File Type: audio/mid
I am trying to upload files on LG (5350 & 5227) mid & gif. I am getting 906 invalid descriptor error. I tried converting file names into small but still same problem even tried diff files. Any advise?
Also Thanks a million for your free service. Keep up the good work!!
I tried using the link to upload a qcp file, but it says it is the worng file type.
HI, after uploading the .gif file to my sprint pcs sanyo 8100, I recieved the following message: “Please install plug-in after this download. Content type is not compatible. Then, after the file is posted under the downloads heading, I am prompted with the “would you like to download the plug-in” After ok is pressed, I am taken to the downloads page on my web browser. Where do I go from here? Also, I tried to upload a .jpg file to my phone, and had no such luck. Thanks.
hi, sprintpcs is my carrier and i have a samsung pm-a740; attempting to download a .mid file…i was able to begin downloading the file, but once it finishes, i get the error message #905 Attribute Mismatch. have you ever encountered this? Any idea what i might be doing wrong? THANKS
how do u make and .mp3 or .wav file able to use?
i would like to buy this script please email me..
This is a GREAT deal you have going here! However, I have a Sprint PCS Sanyo PM8200 that supports .mp3′s. I checked the messageboard here, and saw that the statement was made that Sprint PCS does not support MP3 files. This has changed since that statement. Do you think that the code could now be changed on the upload page to include .mp3 files? That would be most excellent if it’s possible. Thanks for your time
And GREAT WORK! – STR1KER
I agree wtih the last post. Would like mp3 support for Sprint phones please.
why won’t the site let me upload a .mmf file for a ringtone?
Use http://www.meomo.com. all you need a GPRS enabled phone. you can jusr about upload anything to your mobile for free.
i have PMD & QCP file and i would like the same on my Nokia 2300 so what i do please let me know
Hi There,
I am writing from Foneplanet.com, we an online mobile phone sim free and pay as you go retailer. We are currently looking for key affiliates to work with. We offer sim free and pay as you go phones feel it is a product line you are currently not selling and as such are missing out on many sales. Last month there were 350k searches on Overture alone for terms including sim free, which means in Google and all other places there are possibly 20 times as many people searching for sim free phones. Typically fashion conscious people buy sim free mobile phones as well as people who have lost or damaged their phones. The market is huge and we convert on average 1.5% of visitors.
Typically you will find that our prices are much lower than other retailers as we are a part of a large wholesale group and we have a much larger range also.

I am getting the same 906 Invalid descriptor error message as others. I uses SprintPCS and i have a Sprint PM-8912. I used this service on my old phone all the time. Is there any way that I might get it to work with this phone?
Hi. Would it be possible for you to email me the upload script for sprintpcs.
Thank you
php sprint script
Sure
Can I get this as well?
i don’t think your script works. i keep getting an error on my phone when i go to the link sent to my phone from your page.
Sorry about that. I forgot to add the mime types on my new server. It should be working now. Try it for yourself.
hey, thanks for the fix… however, its still not working totally.
i’ve tried to upload both a .midi and a .jpg since then & the .midi came through just fine.
however, the .jpg did not work. i would get a working link to the .gcd file sent to my phone, however, once i download the file, my phone will give me a message saying that i need to download a plugin for the file i have just downloaded because apparently, my phone won’t recogzine the .jpg just sent to me.
now i did notice that when i uploaded the .jpg, that the confirmation said:
upload sucessful
File Name: civic.jpg
File Size: 22048 bytes
File Type: image/pjpeg
Your file has been sent, please check your phone.
shouldn’t “File Type: image/pjpeg” be “File Type: image/jpeg”?
aren’t you glad that you’ve someone to beta test you code for ya?
thanks,
dan
This works great (as far as ringtones go) but I also get the problem of the JPG upload for a screen saver.
Would it be possible to e-mail me the script for this as well? As I would like to add it to our server, as my partners and I all have PCS enabled phones and this would make it a lot easier to customize our phones (rather than having to pay another site for the capability).
Thanks again!!
Man! This works great! (except for uploading screensavers and wallpapers, but I’m sure you’ll fix that)
Was just wondering if I, too, could bother you for the PHP code for this capability. My business partners and I all have PCS phones and we are tired of having to pay sites to use the capabilites for this.
Thanks!!
The type of upload is determined by the type of file you are uploading and not the extension of the file. Your file extension might say .jpg, but the file is a pjpeg file. Make sure you are using the right kind of file. The best way to find these files is to look on websites such as 3gupload.com, save them on your local computer and upload them through here.
PCS vision error for wallpaper…
“Your phone does not have handler corresponding to this content.”
This is the last time I will address this issue.
This error has to do with your picture. Your picture is saved as the wrong file type and will not work with your phone. You need to either get the right kind of picture or you need to get a picture from a site such as 3gupload.
It is not the script that is wrong, it is your picture. Try and use a different wallpaper or picture and see if you get the same error. I know it works because I use it all the time. Just give me the benefit of doubt and TRY to use a picture from 3gupload.
Does your code to upload ringtones to SprintPCS phones include mp3 files as well ?
SprintPCS does not support MP3 files.
hi i have a wav. file that i am trying to upload to my phone, its is only about 530kb and when i upload youing this site it says the file is too big, could you help me with this issue thaks.
SprintPCS does not support .wav files directly. You will have to convert the .wav to a .mid file first using a local program on your computer.
I know everyones asked you already, but is it possible for you E-Mail the Script to me too?
Thanx
I am very new here. I did use the link sent one picture to my phone, but I can not find anything there. What should I do? Should I download something to the phone first? Where should I find the picture from the phone? Thanks.
Im a student CIS student at devry, and I was wondering if you could send me your code for the Uploader so i can get started on my on development for my senior project?
