Everything is coming together - but still lots to do - I am still getting questions about where we are registered- we are registered at target. You can go online or instore and find it. The air condition at st. Adalbert is still not installed, but we still have our fingers crossed.

As many people are aware, my brother Matt will be the photographer. With this idea, I need to plan where I would like pictures taken. I am hoping for a nice day, but I would have to make other plans in case of the weather. Does anyone have any suggestions for good picture opportunities here in the Toledo area? (we are considering the crosby gardens)

I am excited, they are in the process of installing air condition in St. Adalbert’s church which is a wonderful thing - because in the beginning of august the church can be very warm and I have a 20+ pound dress to wear- if we are lucky - the installation will be complete when aug. 5th rolls around!

You can find St. Adalberts here: Map of 3233 Lagrange St
Toledo, OH 43608-1841, US
And Wildwood Metropark here: Map of 5100 W Central Ave
Toledo, OH 43615-2106, US
AND here are the directions from St. Adalbert’s to Wildwood Metropark: Driving Directions from 3233 Lagrange St, Toledo, OH to 5100 W Central Ave, Toledo, OH
OR you can head south on LaGrange, take a right on Central Ave and continue on Central ave until you see the metropark - this is really long because you have to go through many lights.

My mother and I sometimes do not see eye to eye on some things - in this case - the food. We are going to have wonderful indian food catered by a delicious indian restaurant, called Tandoor, but my mother is concerned regarding the people that do not like indian food… I do not understand this — because I LOVE indian food, but to compromised we will have some good old-fashioned meat and potatoe american meal

What can be done in Toledo? Some people might snicker and say absolutely nothing, but I do not feel that this is the case… I sat here thinking and I came up with these things:
Toledo has a variety of things that can be done to enjoy the few hours between the celebration and the reception:
• The Toledo Museum of Art
2445 Monroe Street at Scottwood Avenue
Toledo, Ohio 43620
The Museum is just west of Toledo’s downtown business district, directly off interstate 75.
It has free admission and is open from 10am to 4pm on Saturdays

• The Toledo Zoo
Anthony Wayne Trail Entrance
2 Hippo Way
Toledo, Ohio 43609
The Zoo is open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and costs $10 per person for admission. There is a parking fee.

• Take a walk and enjoy the Wildwood Metropark, where the reception will be held later.
There are a variety of walking trails and playgrounds at the park.
Please visit for more information.

• COSI Toledo
COSI Toledo is a hands-on science museum located on the riverfront in downtown Toledo Ohio with over 300 exhibits for kids of all ages. They are open 10am to 5pm on Saturdays. Admission is $8.50 and there is a parking fee. COSI Toledo is located at 1 Discovery Way, at the corner of Summit and Adams Streets, on the riverfront in downtown Toledo.

• Westfield Shopping Center
Is a place in Toledo where you can shop and pick up a quick snack. The normal hours are 10am to 9pm on Saturdays. http://westfield.com/franklinpark/
• Columbia Gas Ribs on the River on August 5th
Enjoy the afternoon on the river downtown Toledo. See http://toledo.com/events/citifest.php for more details.
There are a variety of other things to enjoy, like Tony Packo’s or the Butterfly House – check out this website: http://toledo.com/attractions/index.php for more information
I really hope everyone will enjoy their visit to Toledo when you come to share the celebration with us- I know we are going to enjoy partying with you.
